Our Pastor

The Nalley Family

Pastor Scott Nalley began his ministry in 1984 as Youth Pastor at Full Gospel Worship Center in Fairfield, CA (currently Celebration Christian Center). The church experienced growth, not only numerically, but spiritual growth as well. Under Pastor Larry Spivey, he began to form his youth ministry concepts and mature in the ministry as well. This was an exciting time for that church family as they sold an existing building and built an amazing new sanctuary. He also became a licensed minister during this time. That same year he married his wife Becky and within the next 3 years had 2 daughters, Melissa and Laura.

In 1993, He attended and volunteered at Vaca Valley Christian Life Center in Vacaville, CA (currently The Mission). There he got to see the workings of a large church. As Pastor Scott and his wife became small group leaders of their own group, they learned the importance of keeping a large church small.

In 2000, Pastor Scott spent a short season learning from his younger brother Tim Nalley who is the children's pastor at the Father's House in Vacaville, CA.

When he arrived at Foothill Christian in Napa, CA in 2001 to assist his twin brother Steve Nalley (senior pastor), there was no one in the building. It was a very hard time financially and the building was in tough condition. They stayed faithful and God blessed. As the youth pastors, Scott and his family, ran well over a hundred teenagers each week. They started and maintained Christian clubs at several Jr High Schools, visiting 3 or 4 schools weekly, and weekly prayer at the flag pole at the local High School. They also ran a program called Napa Valley Masters Commission, which is a hands on 24/7 discipleship program. In 2005, his daughter Melissa was married to Wesley Enault. His younger daughter Laura was married January 2010 to Chris Malkiewicz. They have always been a huge part of the success God has brought to the different ministries Pastor Scott has served in.

This incredible ministry experience equipped Scott and his family for their greatest adventure ever: relaunching a church in Vallejo, CA. Scott and his family moved to Vallejo in June of 2009 with the dream of building a life-giving church focused on the simplicity of the Gospel and the power of an intimate relationship with a loving God. Bridgeway Church had its first launch service at Hogan High School on September 20, 2009, and the dream just keeps getting bigger! Pastor Scott leads by being a notorious encourager which is one reason God has given him such a strong following. And finally, Pastor Scott is committed to building bridges to the community by reaching the lost and helping the hurting.
